My Interest in welding started roughly six years ago when my father bought a wire feed MIG welder.
I started with welding misc things just to get the hang of it. The more welding I did, the more interested I got and the more I wanted to learn, so my father gave me the "Welder's Handbook" and I started reading it. As I was reading through the book I would try the techniques explained on pieces of scrap metal. A friend of mine with an 89 Mustang asked if I could weld in a set of sub frame connectors, I thought how hard can it be? Well. it was a little more difficult then I expected, but I got it done. It's not the prettiest of welds, but it works. A year or so later I purchased a new to me mustang coupe that I planned on turning into a street/strip car. As the build process moved along I was welding and fabricating things I needed to save myself some money. Four long years later I decided to go to my local technical college to learn the basics of welding. Once the basic was done I moved onto advanced welding. During the advanced class I was throwing around the idea of making things on the side for some extra money and that's how The Fusion Solution came about. The Fusion Solution is a small one man operation right now and things are made to order so it can take a couple of weeks depending on what is being made.
